Jerry G. Ingle, age 76, of Morgan Street, Sandy Mush, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Hospice House in Forest City.
Born September 28, 1941 in Rutherford County, NC, he was a son to the late Boyce Lee Ingle and Geneva McKinney Ingle. He worked for McCurry-Deck Motors for thirty years as an auto-body repairman before retirement. He was a member of the Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan. Jerry loved his family dearly and especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Andy Grayson Ingle and daughter, Rhonda Powell; two brothers, Jimmy Ingle and Roy Ingle and one sister, Judy Ingle.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of fifty-seven years, Helen Mace Ingle; son, Mark Ingle of Sandy Mush; two brothers, Ronnie Ingle and Ricky Ingle and wife, Marie all of Henrietta; one sister, Jeanette Arrowood and husband, Charles also of Henrietta. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Kellie Radford (Kyle), Marcus Ingle (Larissa), Katie Powell and great-great-grandchild, Maddox Grayson Radford.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Danny McCain and Mr. Mark Ingle officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
