Jerry "JJ" Gene Jenkins, 74, passed away on Saturday, March 04, 2023 while at his home.

He was born to H. Max Jenkins and the late Donnis McSwain Jenkins in Cleveland County. He is also predeceased by his spouse, Deborah Jenkins; son, Nicholas Jenkins; granddaughter, Amber Campbell.

Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Angela Humphries; grandchildren, Kala Campbell, Christopher Campbell and Jenna Humpries; father, H. Max Jenkins; brother, Ricky Jenkins; sisters, Patty Beck and Debbie J. Glenn.

He worked as a Dye House Operator. He loved music and playing his drums. He loved his family and spending time with them. He was a wonderful son, father, grandfather and brother that will forever be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Rehobeth Methodist Church, 2036 Rehobeth Church Road, Shelby, NC 28150.
