Jerry Lee Murray, age 64, went to his Heavenly Home on, Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Atrium Healthcare Cleveland. Born in Cleveland County on October 13, 1954 he was the son of Lola Barbara Ball Murray of Grover and the late Lloyd Gilbert Murray. Jerry was the owner of Murray's Heating and Air. He was a member of Christ the King Church. Jerry was an avid dirt track racer and race fan. In addition to his father, Jerry is preceded in death by his Nanny, Eva Ward.

In addition to his mother, Jerry is survived by his wife 19 years, Debbie Deaton Murray; a daughter, Brittany Justice and husband Brandon of Shelby; a step son, Chad Montgomery and wife Necole of Blacksburg SC; a step daughter, Brooke Hannah and husband Charles of Blacksburg SC.; three sisters, Brenda Nestlerode and husband Raymond of Grover, Anna Murray of Grover, and Lora Harding of Grover; four brothers, Gilbert Murray of Grover, Tommy Murray and Vanessa of Shelby, Wade Murray of Kings Mountain and Danny Murray and wife Sonja of Shelby; six grandchildren, Zachary, Kayley, Noah, Blade, Kayden, and Braxlynn.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Christ the King Church with Rev. Vernon Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm before the service. Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain.
