Mr. Jessie Ray Deskin, 64, of Grover, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at his residence. A native of Cleveland County, he is the son of the late Curtis Deskin and Ocie Williams Deskin. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam. He liked antiques and working on old cars. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Ledbetter and Margaret; two brother-in-laws, Bill Pearson and John McDaniel.

He is survived by one brother, Robert Deskin of Grover; one sister, Virginia Pearson of Shelby; four nieces and one nephew; numerous great nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law, Sherrill Ledbetter.
