Jimmy Ray Campbell, 73, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Hospice Wendover in Shelby, NC.

Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Lonnie Ray Campbell and Mary Pittman Campbell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Bobby Gene Campbell.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Jean Ledbetter Campbell, his children Jureita Buis of Kentucky and Joshua Don Campbell of New Mexico. Also left to cherish his memory is his sister Raejeana Inge, step-children, Teresa Stephens and Shay Teague, as well as, numerous grandchildren.

Jim was a long haul truck driver for most of his working career and found joy in spending time outdoors.

In accordance with Jimmy's wishes, a formal service will not be held at this time.
