Mr. Jimmy Ray Phillips, 61 of Lattimore, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 20, 2017.
He is survived by a brother, Jerry Phillips and wife Ava of Lincolnton, NC, a sister, Sherri Ann Barclay and husband Sam of West Point, MS, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Born August 19, 1956 in Cleveland County, Mr. Phillips was the son of Jewel Aileen Clark of Shelby, NC, and the late Leonard Bobo Phillips and was preceded in death by brother, Bruce Eugene Clark, and special friends, Bill and Kelli Church.
Jimmy was a faithful member of Lattimore Baptist Church. He worked close to 40 years at PPG. He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, traveling, eating, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of CCIB. Jimmy was a friend to everyone. He would always bring a smile to your face and will be dearly missed by those that knew him.
Memorial Services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Lattimore Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Glenn Parker, Jr. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
