Jimmy Ray Prince Jr., 40, of Shelby, NC, passed away on October 18, 2023 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC.

He was born in Gaston County, North Carolina. JR was a dedicated public servant, former member of Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department and a current member of Grover Rural Volunteer Fire Department. He loved spending time riding his Harley and was a member of the Blue Crew Motorcycle Club. JR was an avid music lover and enjoyed playing guitar and drums. He was formerly employed with Home Detective in Charlotte, NC. JR enjoyed spending time with his precious daughter, Shelby and his entire family. He was a wonderful husband, father, son and friend to many. He will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved him.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverend Robbie Moore officiating

VISITATION: Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Allen Memorial Baptist Church, Grover, NC
