Jo Anne Preslar Bridges, 82, of Lawndale, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Fair Haven of Forest City.

Born in Mecklenburg County, on November 7, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Willie C. Preslar and Sally Mae Clontz Preslar. She was a homemaker and member of Big Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Henry Bridges and a brother Ralph Preslar.

She is survived by two sons Richard Bridges and wife Carol of Greenville, NC and Wayne Bridges and wife Debra of Lawndale; a brother, Donnie Preslar of Charlotte; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Scott officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Big Springs Baptist Church, 534 Big Springs Church Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040.
