Joann Bright Hodge, age 80, of Ellenboro, passed away, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born October 15, 1937 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Avery Bright and Donia Guffey Bright. Joann was a member of High Shoals Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Hodge Jr.; and two sons, Ricky Van Hodge and Tony Jeffery Hodge.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Eddie Hodge and wife Betty; one daughter, Cathy Kiser and fiancé David Evans; and one brother, Charles Bright Jr. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Eddie Hodge Jr., Missy Quinn and husband Grady, Benny Kiser, Josh Kiser, Amber Hodge, Jessie Hodge, TJ Hodge; and four great-grandchildren, Harley Sprouse, Jacob Hodge, Dalton Harvey and Chad Hodge
Funeral services are private.
