SHELBY-Joann Helen Sowinski Beck, age 78, of Shelby, passed away Nov. 23, 2017, at Carolinas HealthCare System-Cleveland.

Born July 30, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Sowinski and Maryann Yenjewski Sowinski. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Beck.

Joann was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church.

She is survived by six children; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at Cleveland Funeral Services.

A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017.
