SHELBY - Joe Frank Mullinax, born on March 18, 1950, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at his home in Shelby NC. He is the son of the late William Ray and Mary Turner Mullinax. He is also predeceased by four brothers, Gene, Leonard, Roger, and Sam Mullinax; one son, Chuck Bridges.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Cindy Mullinax; sister, Della Anderson; two brothers, Junior Mullinax and Terry Mullinax; daughter, Cindy Howell and husband, Christopher; son, Joseph Mullinax; step-sons, Doug Hawkins and wife Jada, Robert Hawkins and fiance', Bobbi Allen; seven grandchildren, Kayla, Ashley and fiancee Billy Elmore, Yates, Emmett, Jack, Wilder, and Phoneix; two great-grandchildren, Elijah (Bam Bam) and Hailie; daughter-in-law, Cher Bridges (wife of Chuck); many nieces and nephews.

At Joe's request there will be no services.
