John Calvin Flack, 74, of Forest City, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center in Rutherfordton, NC.

He was born on November 8, 1946 in Cleveland County, NC to the late J. T. Flack and the late Marie Johnson Flack.

John was a member of Eskridge Grove Baptist Church where he served faithfully on the Usher Board. He was a graduate of Douglas High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. John worked for many years for the Department of Transportation and then retired from Wal-Mart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Flack.

Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Angie Loree Flack of Forest City, NC, Amy Flack Southerland (Monté) of Durham, NC and Raven S. Logan of Rutherfordton, NC; one sister, Vivian Paulette Flack of Lawndale, NC; one brother, Joe Edward Flack (Inez) of Forest City, NC; two grandchildren, Isaiah Monté Southerland and Maya Elizabeth Southerland both of Durham, NC; a very special friend, Offia Blanton of Shelby, NC and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Mr. Flack will be private. He may be viewed at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Eskridge Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. Condolences can be expressed online at www.enloemortuary.com.
