John Chambers Boheler, 77, passed away on December 14, 2016 at CHS Main. He was born in Cleveland County to the late Haskel and Daisy Bell Boheler on April 15, 1939. He is also predeceased by one son, John C. Boheler, Jr.; one daughter, Rachel Boheler Coleman; one brother, David Boheler; two sisters, Maude Dixon and Mary Boheler.

John leaves behind to cherish his memories two sons, Gerald Boheler and Jeffery E. Boheler both of WA; one daughter, Angelia Butler Hutchinson of Shelby; one sister, Faye Drumm of Kings Mountain; seven grandchildren, Ayden T. Jackson, Summer L. Reynolds, Christopher L. Reynolds and Jolene S. Reynolds of the home, Tiffany Butler, T.J. Butler and Kendall Hutchinson all of Shelby; three great grandchildren; Chris L. Reynolds of the home.

He was a member of the United States Air Force, a long distance truck driver, loved being around and enjoying his family. He will truly be missed and loved.

A 2:00 PM memorial service with Military Honors by the Rutherford County Honor Guard will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1101 S. Battleground Avenue, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 with Pastor Michael Horne officiating. A visitation will be held after the service.
