John Douglas Lookadoo, 50, transitioned to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 while at his home.

John leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Nichole Gero; grandchildren, Lily Parker, Leland, NeVaeh and Amelia Gero; mother, Rosa Lee Lookadoo; father, Ronnie Ray Stafford; brothers, Richard Luckadoo, Don Lookadoo (twin brother), Johnny Stafford and Steven Stafford; sisters, Kimi Lopez, Christina Lookadoo, Becky Smith, Stella Bond Stafford and Connie Stafford; one nephew; two great-nephews.

He volunteered with Sandy Mush Fire Department for 18 1/2 years. He also worked at Cone Mills for 15 years. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, son brother and uncle that will remain in our hearts forever. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services are not planned at this time but may be announced at a future date.
