SHELBY - John Robert Barber, Jr., age 66, passed away on Monday, December 06, 2021 at his home. He is predeceased by his wife, Kim Barber; parents, John Robert, Sr. and Etta McFarland Barber.

John leaves behind his daughter, Adrianne Styles; granddaughters, Destinee, Tristen and Cassidy Styles; daughter, Melissa Barber; granddaughter, Ava Shade; grandson, Elijah Shade; sister, Sheila Jernigan.

He worked in Construction for most of his life. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and brother. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), 855 West Sumter Street, Shelby, NC 28150.
