John William Decker, 55, of Shelby, NC, passed away on January 24, 2020 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Born in Catawba County, NC, he was the son of the late Floyd Decker. John was employed with C & C Scrap Metals. John was an avid sportsman and hunter, as well as a trapper. He was happiest when he was in the woods enjoying nature and wild life.. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
