Johnnie Buff, age 80, of Bostic, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at her residence.

Johnnie was born Tuesday, July 16, 1940 in Rutherford County to the late Curtis Sanford Buff and Lottie Stanley Buff. She was a graduate of Harris High School, class of 1958 and a graduate of Kings Business College in Charlotte. Johnnie worked as an administrative assistant for many years at Burlington Industries and Galey & Lord Mills before retirement. She was of the Baptist faith and was known for her generous and giving heart. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Dewey, Elbert, Bill, Kenneth and Donald Buff.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Virginia Scruggs of Spartanburg, Irene Scott of Gaffney and Jackie Connor of Rutherfordton; brothers, C.D. Buff (Ophelia) of Spartanburg, Frank Buff (Wannel) of Shelby and Jim Buff (Cindy) of Harris. She was also a special aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was conducted at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Hicks Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Brian Cole officiating.

Memorial donations are requested to the Church of the Exceptional, PO Box 46, Caroleen, NC 28019.
