Johnny Carroll Scism, 72 of 6524 Casar Road , Casar passed away January 12,

2017 at his residence.

Born March 20, 1944 in Cleveland County to the late Clara Mae Scism Towery.

He retired from NCDOT as a machine operator.

In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Fannie

Scism and sister, Janet Towery Price.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patsy Dianna Wilkey Scism; son,

Johnny Scism II of Casar; daughters, Teresa Gail Scism and Tamy Lynn Scism

both of Casar; six grandchildren, Charity and husband Austin Sain, Adreanna

Sells, Landon Zimmerman, Johnny Scism III, Rachel Scism and Allura Scism.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Stamey -Tysinger

Funeral Home.

Memorial service will be at 4:00 PM at Stamey - Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel

with Rev. Jackie Price officiating.

Burial will be private.
