Jorinda "Denene" Johnson Hare

Mrs. Jorinda "Denene" Johnson Hare, 56, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte. She was born on November, 23 1964 in Cleveland County, NC to Barbara Johnson and the late Joseph Stevenson.

Denene's Testimony

"Thank you family and friends, for all of your prayers. For those of you who don't

know my testimony, I want to share what God did for me. The doctors had only given

me 6 months to live. That was over a year ago and He is still proving His Word and plan

for my life is greater than a doctor's report. For that, I am grateful! God has given me a

second chance to get into the Kingdom of Heaven. He could have permitted my life to

be taken by disease. But God, He used this situation and time to allow me to develop

a relationship with him. What do I mean? Sometimes we get complex in our thinking.

With my upbringing in the church and all the organizations that I participated in such

as, Bible studies, the choir, Girls in Action volunteerism, and picking up children for

the kids choir rehearsal, I thought I was good with God. The big question was not what

I was doing "good" for God but if I received what Jesus had done for me and taking up

my cross to follow Him in my life? This is my second chance, my new life in Christ! I

am so grateful to God.

God is a doctor above all other doctors. He's a healer, He's a friend and He has the

final say! The key is to trust him whole heartily and not doubt His love and saving

power in our lives." Posted October 7, 2020
