Joseph Nathaniel Ross

Joseph Nathaniel Ross, 61, of Shelby, NC passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 in Shelby.

He was born on October 14, 1959 in Cleveland County, NC to the late David Ross and the late Bertha Ross Webber.

Gracious Father

We gather today to celebrate the life of our beloved father, brother, uncle, friend and companion. For we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Sixty one years ago Joseph Nathaniel Ross was born in Shelby, North Carolina. He attended Cleveland County Schools graduating from Burns High School in Lawndale, North Carolina in 1977.

As a young boy, he joined Washington Missionary Baptist Church and remained a lifetime member. He was married to Deborah Hunt. Together they had two boys of whom he was immensely proud. Joseph was a hard worker and provided for his family. He also spent many years assisting his father with the family business.

Thank you God that you saw his weary tired frame was failing. You gave him sweet rest on Thursday morning, July 22, 2021. We count it a blessing to have been touched by his wisdom, wit, and his humor-- most of all his love. We are forever grateful to you for sharing his life with us. ~Amen~
