Cherryville - Mr. Joseph Steven "Steve" Falls, 61, passed away on Sunday,
July 7, 2019.

Steve was born in York, South Carolina on September 7, 1957 son of the late
James C. Falls and Ruby Faries Falls. He worked at CommScope in Catawba.
Steve was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cherryville where he
served as chairman of the Trustees. He enjoyed woodworking and helping
people with home projects.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Carol L. Falls of the home; a son,
Jon Falls and wife Bayley; a daughter, Lyndsey Falls all of Cherryville; two
sisters, Beverly Chapman and Becky Rosenlieb both of Lincolnton; a brother,
Jimmy Falls of Georgia and two nephews, Daniel and Branden Rosenlieb.

Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at
First United Methodist Church in Cherryville and at other times the family
will be at the home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at
First United Methodist Church with Rev. Zack Christy and Rev. Alan Wheeler
officiating.

Burial will be in City Memorial Cemetery.

Pink Street, Cherryville, NC 28021.
