Joseph William "Bill" Sellers, age 84, departed this world for his heavenly home on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, from White Oak Manor of Kings Mountain. Born on August 8, 1934 he was the son of the late Perry Sellers and wife Doshia Panther Sellers.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Beaver and Evelynn Sellers, both of Shelby.

Bill is survived by his wife of more than 57 years, Rachel Wehunt Sellers and one son Jody Sellers and wife Marilyn of Kings Mountain as well as two granddaughters; Morgan and Johana Sellers.

Funeral Service will be held 3pm, Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Reverends Jim Brackett, and Steven Blanton officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Melvin Proctor and full military honors. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 pm until 3 pm in the church sanctuary.
