Mrs. Josephine Martin Brendle, 90, of Shelby, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010. Graveside Services were held in Burke Memorial Park, Morganton, NC.
Mrs. Brendle was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, David Winfred Brendle; her parents, Jefferson and Ila Haney Martin; a daughter-in-law, Jane Monroe Brendle; a great-granddaughter, Christina Marie Brendle; and 13 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by 3 sons, Rev. Jeff Brendle and wife Brenda of Kings Mountain, NC, Rev. Tim Brendle and wife Ava of Petersburg, VA, and Rev. Thad Brendle of Kannapolis, NC; 5 grandchildren and their spouses; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
