Josh Randall Wellmon, 35, of 1756 Metcalf Road, Shelby, went to be with the
Lord, Friday March 16, 2018 at home.

Born April 29, 1982 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Jerry
Allen Wellmon. He was employed by Case Farms as a truck driver and was a
member of Zion Baptist Church. He loved playing with his three children,
spending time with his family and riding four wheelers and farming.

Survivors include his wife of fifteen years, April Nichoal McNeilly Wellmon;
son, Lucas Wellmon of Shelby; two daughters, Lara Wellmon and Leslie Wellmon
both of Shelby; brother, Talmadge Wellmon of Cherryville; niece who was like
a daughter, Amy Moses; nephew, Jerry Wellmon; aunt, Vicky Hoyle and husband
Dan; uncle, Scott Wellmon and wife Barbara; cousin, Marie Horn;
father-in-law, Clint McNeilly and wife Renee; mother-in-law, Angie Tessneer
and husband Wayne; brothers-in-law, Dustin Tessneer and Casey McNeilly;
grandmother, Elaine Shoup; special friend, Mark Downs.

The visitation will be Monday 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Stamey Tysinger Funeral
Home.

The funeral service will be Tuesday 4:00PM at Zion Baptist Church with Dr.
Matt Storie and Clyde Gold officiating. The body will be placed in the
church thirty minutes prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
