Joshua Dean Justice, 28, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital. Born in Cleveland County, he was the beloved son of Max Buford Justice and Ella Janois Dayberry Justice. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph McSwain.

Josh is survived by his parents, Max and Jan Justice, and his fiancée, Derita.

Josh had a deep love for the outdoors and had a special gift for connecting with his surroundings, he could turn any creature into a friend. His gentle nature and bond with animals will be fondly remembered. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time near the water. A car enthusiast, Josh had a passion for both classic and modern cars, both foreign and domestic, and often pointed them out while driving down the road. .

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5:00 PM on September 28, 2025, at Christopher Road Baptist Church, with Pastor Mike Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
