Joyce McNeely Welch, 79, of Kings Mountain, passed away at Wendover Hospice on April 15, 2025. She was born December 14, 1945, in Cleveland County, to the late Thomas Leroy McNeely and Floice Jolly McNeely.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Allen Welch and Thomas "Tommy" Lee Welch; siblings, Buren McNeely, Oscar McNeely, Elsie Bridges and Dot Capps.
Joyce was a lifetime member of New Camp Creek Baptist Church. She worked for Eaton Corporation for 20 years.
Left to cherish her memories are sisters, Myrtle Gilmer, Lorene Beaver; brother, James McNeely; grandson, Matt Milum; daughter-in-law, Melissa Hill (Mark); numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce's graveside service will be held 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at New Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Richard Stroupe and Pastor John Bridges officiating. The family will greet friends after the graveside service.
