Juanita Gail Luckadoo Fredell

Juanita Gail Luckadoo Fredell, 69 of Valdese passed away March 20, 2017 at
her residence.

She was born December 23, 1947 to the late John Grady Luckadoo and Mae Belle
Powell Luckadoo in the small town of Casar, nestled in the foothills of
Cleveland County. Juanita was raised on a cotton farm owned by her parents
along with seven siblings. She grew up in a family of brothers and sisters
who always loved each other and appreciated reuniting with their own
families on special occasions.

Juanita was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew
her. She had a zest for life best described as vivacious and caring. She
loved her church, Canaan Baptist, where she was a charter member and her
church family and always had a zeal for being an active part of the church.
She will be greatly missed but all of heaven is rejoicing as they have
gained another angel.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers,
Andrew, Monroe and Steven Luckadoo and one sister, Sarah Dean Chapman; as
well as a special nephew, James (Buddy) Willis, whom she grew up with and
who was considered a brother as well.

Survivors include a son, Troy Neal Fredell and wife, Ginny of Oak Island;
daughter, Karla Morton and husband, Ron of Supply; five grandchildren, Anna
Mauney and fiancé, Jared Beasley, Gracie Fredell, Asa Fredell, Tori Griffin
and Taylor Thomas; two brothers, Eugene Luckadoo and wife, Irene of
Polkville and Myron Luckadoo and wife, Nancy of Casar; two sisters, Stella
Gettys and husband, Don of Polkville and Emily McKinney of Lincolnton, GA;
and two sister-in-laws, Derema Luckadoo and Iris Luckadoo and a neighbor
and special friend, Jerry Whisnant.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday at Canaan Baptist Church with
Rev. Pat Mourglea officiating. The body will be placed in the church
thirty minutes before the service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
