Judith Ann Hoyle Whitaker, 81, of Pruitt Road, Casar, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby.
Born in Cleveland County, on October 18, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Victor Alvin Hoyle and Mary Elizabeth Mode Hoyle. She was retired from Hoechst Celanese and Cleveland County Schools. Mrs. Whitaker was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, Casar.
In addition to her parents she is preceded by her husband, Donald Lee Whitaker; four brothers, Gerald Hoyle, Gene Hoyle, Harold Hoyle and Billy Hoyle and a sister, Edith Irvine.
She is survived by two sons, Wesley Glenn Whitaker and Brian Eugene Whitaker both of Casar; daughter, Trina Angel of Lawndale; a sister, Paris Black of Hudson; seven grandchildren, Lacey Sparks, Hannah Angel, Harley Angel, Haven Angel, Skylar Whitaker, Kelsey Whitaker, and Sophie Whitaker; a great grandchild, Ella Grace Sparks and a great grandson due in March, Zayden; as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:30am to 11:00am at Corinth Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny McNeilly officiating.
