Judy Elizabeth Wray Phillips, 76, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 at her home.

Born in Cleveland County on April 19, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Clyde William Wray and Emma Elizabeth Childers Wray. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by brothers, Roger and Johnny Wray and her sister Mamie Wray.

Judy's legacy will endure as a devoted spouse, sister, mother, and cherished grandmother known affectionately as "Gego." She will be fondly remembered for her unwavering faith and deep love for her family.

Judy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard Calvin Phillips, Sr., her two children, Wendy Hawthorne and Richard Calvin Phillips, Jr., as well as, four grandchildren Harlee Hawthorne, Isabella Hawthorne, Reagan Phillips and Logan Phillips.

Judy is also survived by her brother Ralph Wray (Vickie) of Kings Mountain, NC sisters, Peggy W. Montgomery of Mary W. Grigg (Paul), Brenda W. Peterson (Bobby), sister-in-law Teresa B. Wray.

A celebration of life service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Kings Mountain Family Worship Center with Dr. Roger Woodard Officiating. 1818 Shelby Rd Kings Mountain 28086.
