Mrs. Judy Lynn Carswell Bailey, 62, of Mooresboro, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at her residence.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Buren Ray Bailey of the home, two brothers, Harold Dean Carswell and wife Revonda of Forest City, NC, and Edward Nelson Carswell and wife Amy of Shelby, NC, two sisters, Barbara Ann Lavender and husband Brint of Ellenboro, NC, and Janice Marie Turner of Cliffside, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born July 27, 1953 in Burke County, Mrs. Bailey was the daughter of the late John William Carswell and Ethel Louise Bright Carswell.

Mrs. Bailey enjoyed listening to gospel music, reading the Bible, spending time at different churches, sightseeing, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by those that knew her.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel conducted by Rev. Mike Frazier. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
