Julie Sue Phillips Lovelace

Julie Sue Phillips Lovelace, 62, of 128 Rainbow Dr., peacefully passed away on her late husband's birthday, February 9th, 2021, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Kent Hale Lovelace and the daughter of the late Willard P. and Madgie Sue Mullinax Phillips. Mrs. Lovelace worked for many years at Burger King and Hamrick's and was a member of Park Hills Baptist Church. Julie was also a recent breast cancer survivor.

Surviving Mrs. Lovelace are two daughters, Ashley Michelle Lovelace of the home and Tina Lovelace of Kings Mountain; three grandchildren, Kenny, Chloe, and D'Andre Lovelace; a great-grandson, Jameson Leggett; a brother, Jerry Wayne Phillips and wife, Ellen, of Florence, SC; a sister, Lib Blackwell, of Cowpens; and special friends, Mike and Jaymie Dobbins, of Gaffney.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 13th, 2021, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Park Hills Baptist Church. Memorial services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Charles McClure and Dr. Paul Noe officiating. The family asks that masks be worn and social distancing be practiced.
