Karen Lail Vinesett

Karen Lail Vinesett, 62, of Kings Mountain, NC, entered the gates of Heaven on September 17, 2022 at Atrium Main in Charlotte, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Jack Alton Lail. Karen was a lifelong active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she shared her beautiful voice in the choir and chaired the Flower Committee. She was an accomplished decorator and loved arranging flowers and preparing the church for special events. Karen was the general manager of the Hampton Inn in Shelby and was an Ambassador for the Cleveland County Chamber of Commerce. Always active, Karen enjoyed doing for others. She always placed the needs of her family and friends above her own needs. Karen could always be counted on to take care of any task set before her. Her smile was ever present, no matter the circumstances she faced. Her warrior spirit was evidenced in her hard fought battle with cancer. She was a wonderful and caring daughter, mother, Mimi, sister, niece, and aunt. Karen's guidance, love and inspiration was an example to everyone who knew her and will be missed greatly.
