Kathleen "Kat" Sims Logan Hosch

Kathleen "Kat" Sims Logan Hosch, 83, of Shelby, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024.

Kathleen was born in Shelby, NC on April 16, 1941, to the late Lester Hunt and late Henry and Betty Barron Sims. Kathleen worked as a CNA for many years. She graduated from Cleveland High School as well as Cleveland Community College. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and watching old TV shows like Gun Smoke, Heat of the Night, and Murder She Wrote. She loved wrestling and watching her beloved Washington Commanders (formerly the Redskins).
In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by both husbands, Claude Logan and John Hosch Sr.; son, John Robert Hosch, Jr. "Robbie"; brothers, James Barron, Cedric Sims and Henry Williams Sims, Jr.; and sister, Patricia "Ann Bug" Sims.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Denise Logan Whiteside (Joe); two sons, Charles Logan and Keith Logan (Sherry); eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Kathleen was blessed to have an extended family of brothers and sisters that were born to her father Lester. She also leaves a host of close friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel, 231 North Lafayette Street, Shelby, NC.
