Kathleen "Kathy" Myers Bishop, 71, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Hospice at Wendover.

Born in Washtenaw County, MI, she was the daughter of the late Wilburn J. and Lova Belle Russ Myers.

Kathy was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kings Mountain where she was active in the Bus Ministry. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, singing, reading, quilting, making jewelry and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilburn J. Myers and Wesley Leo Myers; and grandson, Chris Mull.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jim Bishop of the home; sons, James Bishop of Shelby and Dan Bishop and wife Tessa of Kings Mountain; daughters, Lova Mull and husband Kenneth of Shelby, Lisa Marie Queen of Shelby and Jolynn Bishop of Ellenboro; sister, Billie Conroy and husband Jamie of Clinton, MI; grandchildren, Tiffany Wood, Anthony Scott Winn, Catherine Anne Winn, Ian Bishop, Seth Bishop, Luke Bishop, Keefer Rick and Billy Moody; and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Ogle officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00pm, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
