Kathy Diane Ridings age 64, died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Hospice Wendover. Born in Cleveland County on April 23, 1952 she was the daughter of Rev. Paris and Aileen Davis McCurry of Shelby. Kathy retired from Ester Mill after several years of service. Kathy is preceded in death by her husband Andy Ridings Jr. and a nephew Kevin Borders.

In addition to her parents, Kathy is survived by her daughter, Celeste Whisnant Kimbrell and husband Eric Dale of Shelby; her granddaughter, Miranda Tessnear of Shelby; her sister, Linda Greene of Shelby; niece and nephew, Daria Burns and husband Michael and Gary Borders and many other loving nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory to help defray funeral cost.
