Keep Shelby Beautiful presented the April 2012 “Effie Murphy Wallace Residential Appearance Award” to 311 South Poston Street owned by Erin Whitaker. The Whitaker residence received the appearance award because: The property enhances the appearance of the neighborhood; The property preserves the natural environment of trees and landscape; The property consistently maintains a high quality landscape that contributes to the City’s image.
