Keep Shelby Beautiful presented the June 2012 “Commercial Appearance Award” to Fidelity Bank located at 331 South Lafayette Street. Fidelity Bank received the appearance award because: The property enhances the appearance of one of Shelby’s major traffic corridors within the central city area. Architectural improvements were made to the building’s rear entrance utilizing stone for the steps, landing area and planter, which was filled with and surrounded by colorful plants and the refreshed landscape of lawn and trees surrounding the parking lot and main building.
The property consistently maintains a high quality landscape that contributes to the City’s image.
