Keith Reid Morrow, Sr. from Shelby, NC passed away on April 13, 2022 at the age of 89.

Mr. Morrow was born on September 18, 1932 in Shelby. He was a son of the late Reid Edward Morrow and Bessie Green Morrow. He was an honor graduate of the University of Laverne, California. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, and was retired from the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Forest Service.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Morrow; brothers Don Morrow, Tye Morrow, and Bob Morrow; half-sister Jackie Capps, his grandson, Cory Morrow, and most recently his precious wife, Brenda Hord Morrow.

He is survived by his beloved sons, Keith Morrow, Jr. of Moreno Valley, CA and Michael Morrow of Bakersfield, CA; beloved daughters, Kathleen Weaver of Bakersfield, CA, Linda Allison of Denver, CO, Laurie Clark of Fresno, CA, and Patricia Townsend of Lompoc, CA; beloved stepdaughter Pamela Proctor and stepson Michael Richards; brothers Mic Morrow of Nashville, TN, and Van Morrow of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by sixteen precious grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren, nieces, including Kay Hartman, and nephews.

Mr. Morrow served the Shelby community for many years as a volunteer at the Senior Center with his wife, Brenda. He enjoyed delivering meals and contributing his time to the center.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 on Wednesday, April 20th, at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home, 106 Cherryville Road, Shelby, NC, with full military rites to follow at Sunset Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
