Keith Rhodes gives back-to-school haircuts...

For the 5th straight year Gardner-Webb University's Assistant Director of Admissions will give free back-to- school basic hair cuts to all girls and boys up to high school age from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Maple Springs Baptist Church, 1231 Maple Springs Road, between Shelby and Boiling Springs.
Keith Rhodes coaches basketball at his non-profit Coach Camp Rhodes during the summer month, and started the free back to school hair cuts as a part of the ministry.
A former Spartanburg, SC barber and former elementary and high school coach, he started cutting his own hair at age 6.
"It took me six hours to cut my own hair at age six,'' he said. Now a haircut by Rhodes takes about 20 minutes.
