Kenneth Farrell Sain, 81, went home to be with Jesus on Good Friday, April 7, 2023 at White Oak Manor in Shelby.

Kenneth was born on April 20, 1941 to Frank and Cleo Sain and shared a home with 13 other siblings. He met his beloved wife, Martha, in grade school and they set forth in their 62 years of marriage as partners in life and in faith, lovingly raising a family and always serving the church. They went on to have three children.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Kenneth retired from furniture upholstery and also enjoyed farming and gardening. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him. Kenneth was blessed with a wonderful tenor voice and shared this gift as a minister of music at numerous churches for over 50 years. He also enjoyed participating in quartets and community choirs.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Teresa Sain Huss; his brothers, Paul, Harold, Hugh, Ralph, Horace, Jimmie, Melvin, and Warren and his sister, Gladys.

He is survived by his, wife, Martha Houser Sain, children of the late Teresa Huss, granddaughter, Kasey; grandson, Nathan (Kayla); his son, Stephen Eric (Karen); grandson, William (Ginger); and grandson, Spencer; and son, Tola Robin (Kim); granddaughter, Christy and granddaughter, Heather (Rodney), step-grandson C.J. and eleven great-grandchildren; and by his brothers, Bob and Colon; and sisters, Dorothy and Joann.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Monday, April 10, 2023 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

A funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Hulls Grove Baptist Church, Vale.

The burial will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Lawndale.
