Kenneth J. Parker, 83, of Mull Rd., Vale, passed away Saturday April 27,
2019 at Sherrills Ford Hospice House.

Born September 20, 1935 in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Otis
Parker and Minnie Lindsey Parker. Mr. Parker worked in the furniture
industry for most of his life and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
He loved restoring and competitive pulling antique tractors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and
five brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Norma Bowman Parker; three children,
Kelly P. Little and husband, Gary of Conover, Jeff Parker and wife, Kathy of
Hickory and Kristie Parker of Hickory and three grandchildren, Matthew
Parker of Hickory, Tiffany P. Lowman of Hickory and Taylor Fender of
Valdese.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Zion Hill Baptist
Church.

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church
with Rev. Allan Barlow officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
