Kenneth Jeffery "Jeff" Lingerfelt, 62 of W. Highway 27, Vale passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at his residence.

Jeff was born in Lincoln County on December 1, 1962 to Ruby Richardson Lingerfelt and the late Kenneth Elwyn Lingerfelt. He was a former employee of ABF Trucking and now a farmer. He was a simple man of the land. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and attending any events his grandchildren had.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 42 1/2 years, Robin Leatherman Lingerfelt; son, Mitchell Lingerfelt and wife, Lacey of Vale; daughter, Meg Lingerfelt of Vale; three grandchildren, Caroline, Levi and Hattie Jo Lingerfelt; a sister, Sandra Beam and husband, Warren of Cherryville and a special niece, Bailey Leatherman. Jeff was a special Poppie to his granddog, Maui and is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Lingerfelt Family Cemetery, David's Chapel Church Road with Rev. Paul Chambers officiating.


Friends and family are welcome to stop by the home anytime to visit and all are welcome to the Graveside Service and following the service the family will greet those who attend.
