Kenneth "Ken" Wayne Willis, age 67, died Friday, September 15, 2017, at his home. Born in Jacksonville, FL on July 19, 1950 he was the son of his late father Warlick David Willis and his mother Loyse Hayes Willis of Shelby. Ken was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church and the former owner of K&W Antiques. He enjoyed hunting and won awards for his work with beagle field trials.

Ken was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Loyse Willis of Shelby and his son Kenneth Scott Willis and wife Jill of Waxhaw and their two children Matthew Scott Willis and Katherine Stewart Willis as well as his caretaker Dawn T. Pribble.

A Graveside service will be held 2pm Monday, September 18, 2017, at Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Richard Stroup officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elizabeth Baptist Church, 301 N Post Road, Shelby, NC 28150.
