Kenneth Lee Weaver, age 64, of Union Mills, North Carolina, passed peacefully away March 20, 2019 at Hospice House of Forest City. Ken was born August 6, 1954, in Waynesboro, Virginia, to Walter K. Weaver and Dorothy Huber Weaver.

He is survived by his wife of forty two years, Dorothy Fern (Mast) Weaver of Union Mills, NC, and five children, Allen & Judith Weaver, Edith & Glendon Sommers, Janet & Wendell Miller, all of Rutherfordton, NC, Ann & Noah Cross of Laurelville, OH, and Doreen Weaver of Union Mills, NC, and nineteen grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Vance & Karen Weaver of Goshen, IN, Robert Weaver of Staunton, VA, and Jerry & Ruthann Weaver of Blackstone, VA, and three sisters, Anna & Fred Mast, Amelia, VA, Ethel & Clyde Ward, Harrisonburg, VA, and Ellen Weaver, Amelia, VA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Wilson Weaver, James Weaver, Ray Weaver, W.K. Weaver, Jr., and Lester Weaver.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Pine Ridge Mennonite Church, 1010 Elliott Rd, Rutherfordton, NC. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 3:30PM - 5 PM and 6:30PM - 8:30PM in the church sanctuary.
