New Hope Baptist Church, located in Earl, hosted their annual Vacation Bible School last week. After a good meal all the children went to the sanctuary to watch a film based on the theme "Journey Off The Map". They clapped and sang along with the film. Their enthusiasm and excitement was infectious and after this photo was taken, groups headed off for Bible study, music, recreation and crafts. Kids ages included pre-k through sixth grade. Youth Minister, Andrew Renfroe, kept the program moving and active with the help of many assistants. He said: "This year's program is incredible, as we teach the children how to trust Jesus as their guide in their journey off the map." Rev. Russ Bradley, New Hope's Pastor for the last 14 years, also took part in the program.
