Kimberly Ann Black Minowicz, 49 of Dick Spangler Road, Shelby passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Hospice at Wendover.

Born June 3, 1974 in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of Wray Larry Black and the late Diane Hendrick Black. Kim was previously employed by Cleveland County Water and was a social worker for 23 years for ACTS Retirement Life Communities (Tryon Estates). She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Kim is survived by her husband of 25 years, Thomas "Tommy" David Minowicz; daughter, Katie Minowicz; son, Zach Minowicz; brother, Chris Black and wife, Angela of Shelby and a niece, Emily Black.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, 4:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Toby Bird officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall.

Burial will be private.
