Kimberly Ann Glover Ellis, 55, of Shelby passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026 at her residence.

Kim was born on July 17, 1970 in Cleveland County, to the late Bobby Gene Glover and Christine Willis Glover

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dustin Tomlin and Tyler Tomlin.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Peter Brian Ellis; son, Kris Tomlin and wife, Jennifer of Shelby and two grandchildren, Axel Wayne Ellis Tomlin and Eli Colt Ellis Tomlin; two brothers, Robby Glover and Shane Glover; niece, Autumn Hight and her family and nephews, Colton Glover and his family, Kade Scruggs and Brandon Glover.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 15, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
