Kimberly Dawn Wortman Borders
 Kimberly Dawn Wortman Borders, 44, of Shelby, died at Carolinas Medical Center on Thursday, June 21, 2012.  A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of Ted & Rosemary Wortman.  She was a massage therapist at the First Resort Spa and was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.  Kim was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. Kim’s presence brought a ray of sunshine to all those around  her. She will be greatly missed and the lives of her friends and family will be forever changed.


She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James & Ruth DeBrew and paternal grandmother, Polly Wortman.


In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Caroline Rose Borders and Corbyn Grace Wiggins both of Shelby; grandfather, Leon Wortman of Shelby; two sisters, Kristi Bowen & husband, Marty of Shelby and Erin Sarratt & husband, Jason of Earl; nieces, Lexi & Logan Bowen and Emma Sarratt and a dear friend, Brendan Hanley.  She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation:            Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory, Saturday, 5:00 – 7:00 pm

Funeral:            Beaver Dam Baptist Church, Sunday, 2:00 pm


Burial:                        Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery
