Mr. Larry Dean Early of Shelby, NC departed this life for his eternal home on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby. He was born on April 11, 1957 in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Rev. Eugene Early and Evangelist Willie Mae Bratton Early.

Larry was formerly employed for a number of years at Jordan Monument Company. He was also a painter and was simply, "a jack of all trades" with knowledge and skill in many different areas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Cedric Early; brothers, Rev. Willie Early and Eddie Early and a sister, Evangelist Earlene Early Walls.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, to his children, Darrell Wimbush and Nicole Lawrence Tate (Brand); a sister, Dorothy Hopper (Daniel); one brother, Eugene Early (Minister Angie Early); a special friend, Kay Rodgers; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service for Mr. Early will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the chapel and other times at 1646 Friendship Road.
