Larry Dean Hope

Larry Dean Hope, 68 of Shelby, NC, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family and friends on March 16, 2018 at the Huskey AFL Home, Shelby, NC, his residence for over 5 years. He was born on November 26, 1949 in Cleveland Co. NC. There are wonderful and Godly things that can be said about Larry Hope. He was definitely a man of God that loved people, his socialization with others and getting out in the community was everything to him. Everyone that knew Larry loved and respected him. He was a good storyteller, his stories were always interesting and captivating. He said that he had many careers in life but his proudest endeavor was his boxing career. He was a champion in his boxing life and in his real life. He was a good man that will be deeply loved and remembered by everyone that knew him in his life.
